Job Responsibilities:
As a Time Keeper, your main duties will include:
Recording daily attendance on site laborers, drivers, and staffs.
Monitoring and updating site entry and exit logs.
Coordinating with HR and site supervisors to report absences and overtime.
Maintaining and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports.
Ensuring compliance with labor and timekeeping procedures.
Using time-tracking software or manual registers efficiently.
Supporting payroll department with accurate time data.

Attendance Tracking:
Record the daily attendance of workers, drivers, and supervisors on-site.
Monitor the entry and exit of all site personnel, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Overtime and Leave Monitoring:
Track overtime hours and ensure that additional work hours are properly logged.
Ensure that employee leave, sick days, and other time-off are accurately recorded and processed.
Timekeeping System Management:
Utilize timekeeping software or manual systems to log hours worked.
Update and maintain the system regularly to reflect any changes in shift timings, holidays, or off-days.
Coordination with HR & Payroll:
Collaborate with the HR department to communicate attendance and leave data for payroll processing.
Assist the payroll team in resolving any discrepancies related to working hours or overtime.
Shift Scheduling Assistance:
Assist in creating and updating work schedules to ensure optimal manpower for the project’s needs.
Liaise with supervisors to adjust schedules according to site requirements.
Communication and Liaison:
Act as a point of contact for site supervisors and employees for attendance-related queries.
Address any employee concerns regarding their work hours, overtime, or time-off requests.
Time-Off Documentation:
Ensure all requested time-off (leave, medical, vacation) is documented and approved by the respective departments.
Verify supporting documentation, such as medical certificates or vacation approvals, before processing.
Reporting Absenteeism & Trends:
Keep track of absenteeism patterns and inform the management team of any recurring issues.
Make recommendations to HR and site managers for strategies to improve attendance.
Team Support:
Support the project team and site supervisors by providing regular updates on staff availability.
Help in managing the workforce efficiently, ensuring that the right number of workers are available for each task.
Inventory Control (Time-Related Resources):
Assist in tracking time-sensitive materials or equipment usage, coordinating with project managers for efficient operations.
Report delays related to transportation or material supply which may affect labor working hours.
Problem Solving:
Address discrepancies or conflicts in timekeeping, such as incorrect entries or disputes regarding overtime.
Work with the supervisor to resolve any on-site issues related to worker attendance.
Maintaining Confidentiality:
Ensure that all personnel data, including attendance and leave records, is kept confidential and protected.
Data Entry & File Management:
Accurately enter timekeeping data into digital or physical records and files.
Organize and store documents for easy retrieval by HR or management when required.
Team Collaboration:
Assist the administrative team and project managers by providing additional support with personnel-related paperwork or documentation.
Training and Orientation for New Staff:
Assist in onboarding new employees regarding the company’s timekeeping policies and procedures.
Conduct timekeeping orientations to ensure new employees understand the system and expectations.

Requirements:
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Time Keeper in a construction or transport company.
Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and time management systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
